Hey everyone.
I have been suffering with UTI problems off and on for quite a while. I quit the Antibiotic route a year ago, and now am using natural remedies.
While waiting for the UTI to go away, I thought to myself if tea tree essential pure oil and coconut oil are both antibacterial and soothing, why not give it a shot to see if it helps with the hurting.
I love essential oils and the way they can help with many maladies.
Of course I also know how powerful they can be, so I knew to procede with caution.
So this is what I did: In a amber glass bottle, I mixed 80% virgin coconut oil. ( I love Nutiva brand), and added 20% of my pure tea tree essential oil.
I mixed it together, and with very clean hands, applied it to my urethra area.
Started early this afternoon. I was afraid at first, but I'm my own guinea pig.....ha...it didn't hurt, although it felt coolish in that area. The sensation lasted for around an hour. No burn or sore eruptions happened.
I have been able to urinate fairly easier.
Just did it a second time (5 hrs later from the 1st time), same sensation.
So far so good. Hope it can help eliminate it along with the cranberry tablets and probiotics I am taking.
Maybe anybody out there has tried something similar? Let me know what results you experienced on the board. Please anyone out there, I don't want to tell you this and somebody out there make a too strong portion and hurt themselves. So do whats right for yourself. I just wanted to share.
