Yabut..it can get so confusing sometimes..
because, when you are taking something, with the intent of it working on one thing..little do you know it can also be affecting something else in a different way--like Newport is talking about.
I know the salt/potassium is also needed for low adrenals, because adrenals control the electrolytes, right?
I know that vitamin C helps with Lead, which I know I have a high level of from a urine test...
So, taking the high doses of salt for the Lyme like I was doing for a while--messes up potassium if you don't also get it balanced..
And I discovered that also trying to focus on toxic copper in the liver...Wilson says that the Vitamin C causes the copper to be moved to the blood stream...
So, I backed off of the salt/vitamin C, and then again recently, the EPFX showed I was low in sodium and potassium, and vitamin C is needed by the adrenals, which I know are low...so I'm once again taking the adrenal mix (sea salt, potassium chloride, vitamin C)
Now I find out sodium binds magnesium, which most people are deficient to begin with, but especially people with lyme...
It's hard to get things balanced!
