I was getting colonics after liver flushes... but the colonics place I go to is closing and there aren't any others in my town. I guess I will have to start doing enemas. I've never done one. Can anyone tell me some basic things about how to do them, or lead me to a page that explains it? I need to know things such as what kind of water to use, if I'm supposed to add anything to the water, what position to be in, etc.-

Personally, I find the Sims position most comfortable for an enema, especially while lying in the bed with the bag hanging 1 1/2 to 2 feet above. If you position the shutoff at just the right location on the tubing, you can control the inflow with either your right or left hand. Right hand works easiest for me.

This is a reply to # 143,577I am about to have my first enema and i am scared out of my mind. I bought some Hydrogen Peroxide 3% and vinegar to add to the water, what else can i add that would help loosen the fecal matter and clean me out?
How long after enema before i have a bowel movement? Will i be unable to control my bowel after putting the water.....will things leak...! - Re: Enema basics. washera
