Ginger -
1st step, get a list of ALL drugs & dosages Done!
2nd step, get a list of ALL symptoms & diagnosis Done!
3rd step, dig MUCH deeper and find out in what order the symptoms presented themselves (as many "symptoms" are merely side-effects from the drugs...and not actual symptoms at all!) Honestly I think they are ALL side effects! : ( I think she was just abused by drug pusher(docs), when her symptoms were just due to poor diet and no exercise.
4th step, sit down at the computer and start typing in the name of every drug and get the list of all the known side-effects of EACH...and start putting it all together in a big picture so it will be clear to you what you/she is REALLY experiencing. The do the a search on each drug and add the term "withdrawal", to find out which (if any) have know withdrawal issues (and don't just rely upon "medical" sites for this! Many drugs with horrendous withdrawal effects barely have them listed on medical sites. (commonly these will be benzodiazepine sedatives, sleeping aids, antidepressants & steroids...but there are many others). Ok, i already got the list of the drugs, with the side effects. Now I will look into there specific withdrawls.ok, thanks for the tips!
5th step, find out what SHE thinks is REALLY wrong with her. NOT what the doctors tell her is wrong with her, but what SHE feels is wrong with her. Will do! She has expressed to me on other occasions that she has disagreed with the docs at times. I'll see what she really thinks is going on!
Now you have enough information to start creating a withdrawal schedule & protocol...and to find out what herbs will/may substitute for the pharmaceuticals, and which ones she will have to "work" and create some level of healing before she can withdraw (if any). (I know! I know! teacher, ask ME! :o) I will be sure to ask you those questions when we get there. Were definitely going to work on the healing part first :)
Then there's the "herbal interaction" thing...which is HUGELY "overplayed". For example, if one is taking Warfarin (a blood thinner/rat poison), virtually every site will 'scream' that natural/herb blood thinners cause "adverse interactions"...which is just their way of saying that these natural blood thinners are effective, and if you take them WITH the Warfarin, your blood will become too thin. That's NOT a negative chemical reaction between the two!! It's TRUE adverse reactions that you/we need to know...and surprisingly, there's actually very few of those. I totally understand. I have thought about that in the same way. I dont think of it in an "herbal interaction" way but I know that her taking certain things like cayenne and garlic will amplify what her drugs are doing as well. So it needs to be balanced and slow (IMO).
I'll be happy to help! :::sigh::: as time allows. Right now I'm TOTALLY buried and trying to figure out when I can take a couple of hours to make some kind of an outline/schedule to get myself UNburied so I can be effective. I know you are crazy busy, so Im trying to soak up as much info as I can from your past posts and I will try to only ask the questions that I REALLY cant find the answers to.
But get the "drug list" posted as soon as you can, and I'll give you every smidgeon of time/help I can :) Are you sure you want me to post it? Im willing, I just know you are really busy!
You're a HEALER! YAY!!!!!! I hope!
