I was looking at some Zappers on Ebay and there was one that I really like the Z4, and another one for $10.00 more, the Z4ex Extreme.
The Z4ex extreme includes "stabilized wave technology".
Is this an an essential feature for zappers to be effective? And if so, the other unit apparently doesn't have this feature and is "unstablized waves"? That doesn't sound good.

This is a reply to # 1,428,183When you hold the handholds, you are creating a "load" to the zapper's output. It is like adding a resistor between the two output cables, which distorts the signal from square wave to something else (rounding edges, lowering the front, etc). Also, due to components precision, the frequency of analog zappers floats (in case of Clark's circuit) 28kHz - 35kHz depending of temperature. Avoiding this two inacuracies is "stabilized wave". It is questionable if it is good or not in case of Zapper, since this device holds all the anecdotal positives based on original Clark's work, where it is neither stabilized, neither 12V, neither 2.5kHz :)Advertisement

This is a reply to # 1,428,183Well, I don't recall Dr. Clark ever talking about this. I do know that my Zapper from Zapperplans.com works just fine and it's one of the $10 ones and as far as I know doesn't have any claims about using "stabilized wave technology". It sounds like another marketing ploy.

I understand a bit more about "stabalized wave technology" now.
I went ahead and ordered it anyway, I hope the added "feature" isn't a marketing ploy. How would I ever know if it really does deliver "stabalized waves"? I'll use use it and see how it goes.

I agree that the stabilized wave is a marketing ploy, even though it is included in ParaZapper products. The only advantage that I can find is that it porvides a little extra sting which can translate to placebo effect.
The ZP zapper, however is the weakest zapper that I have found.

I received my zapper Z4e Extreme within 1 week from ordering. MStrong from Ebay (I think is the same a zapperguy.com) answered all my questioned within a day.
I was scared to order it because I read that it takes a long time if ever to get it from this source. I did!
The zapper is great, 3 frequencies, works great, I'm very pleased.
I zapped 7-20-7-20-7-20-7 at the 30KHz frequency, My friend did to:

My friend got diarreah and saw tomato skin like things which I told him were dead parasites.
He felt nauseated in the morning. Not much fatique.
I experienced fatique, a headache that lasted 1 minute, diarrea, fatique, my skin got really itchy a few hours later, bad nausea in the AM, I got really bad breath in the AM too.
I want to zap my cat for bad ear mites, I don't know how, I think I'll start a thread for suggestions on how to.

This is a reply to # 1,428,183I contacted those who sell the Z4ex at zapperguy.net. They said all their devices 'output a 0.25v positive offset square wave.' However, they say the Z4eX (in addition to more frequencies) has a slightly higher power output.
However, I've seen another zapper that uses the term, stabilized wave. You know what square waves look like, right? Well, these waves on that zapper look like those, only with less space (not much at all) between the square parts. I don't know if the Z4eX is also like that, but judging from people's impressions of the zapper, the Z4eX beats out that other one in at least some regards, for at least some people. I think it was the Ultimate Zapper.

Anyway, as an off-topic suggestion, but still related to zappers, if you're in the market for rechargeable 9v that lasts longer than regular ones that don't recharge, I might recommend some lithium-ion 9v batteries. I ordered some to try them out when I get my first zapper. Hopefully I'll let you know how they work.
I hope these are safe to use with zappers. They are, right? I hope any 9v will do, no matter how long it lasts.

If you get rechargeable 9 volt batteries, use caution. Many only output 8.4 volts which is too low for most zappers. You need at least 9.6 volts. Some 'so called' 9 volt rechargeable batteries only output 7.2 volts.

This is a reply to # 2,101,190Is there a way to find out or measure the voltage? Mine are Tenergy 500mAh lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. Supposedly, they last a lot longer than regular alkaline batteries, and hold a charge much longer than most rechargeables. I haven't heard anything about changes to the voltage.
Why is 7.2v not enough for most zappers?

It says that certain Tenergy batteries produce 9.2v fresh out of the charger. I don't know if this applies to the Tenergy lithium-ion batteries, but that would be cool.

Kind of like putting $10 a gallon paint thinner into a weedeater.

OK, $10 a gallon paint thinner into a lawn mower. Much more sensible.
Neither has much power to begin with and the fuel is just not combustible enough to produce good results.
I can understand that some people just can not spare any more than $10, but come on. Is that all that good health is worth? Truly, either is better than nothing, but either has about 1 in 100 chance of producing real results due to low power output, accuracy limitations, and single frequency operation.
A 9 volt Duracell will output about 10 volts when fresh and should last a couple of months minimum on one of those low power cheapies.
Doubling the voltage may help some but might also burn up one of those cheap units.
