Well they open just about anything coming in, so you get a letter saying it has been seized and that's that.
The public health system has been degenerating since the 1980's, most doctors are working in the private system too now.
Anything more complicated than a ruptured appendix or say diabetes and you have to go to the private hospitals. The public doctors typically has 15 minutes per consultation and will write you off with a random prescription if you come with a serious disease that takes time to sort out. When I first came with my stomach ailment he just laid a hand on my stomach and wrote 'IBD' in my medical record, then I got a prescription for metamucil and that's it. It's a joke LOL
I had to pay thousands of bucks to just get halfways to a diagnosis at a private hospital. I would have to pay triple the amount to get the rest done, with no guarantee that they will do the job anyway.
There is no such thing as free lunch.
(we pay 60% in tax here but we still haven't got a free health system)
