Diagnosis: Prostate Cancer

Hello,
I am writing about my father (72 years old) who was just diagnosed with protate cancer. The doctor apparently told him that it was localized and only in a small gland?
He does not take very good care of himself, does not drink a lot of water, drinks a lot of soda, recently just quite smoking cigarrettes but is still relatively in good health.
I have read he must eat lots of raw vegetables and probably do some cleanses. His doctor told him he had three options, radiation therapy, prostatectomy or a new treatment where they actually burn the bad cells.
Can anyone help with alternatives to these types of treatments? I would like to see my father try something more holistic than to undergo any of these treatments as the side effects do not sound desirable.

Now 66 and in real health, I have continued my research, cleansing and learning to this day, resulting in the very successful program in my book.

As you will read in the Natural Anti-Cancer Protocol, he must address his entire lifestyle and eliminate all unhealthy habits. Diet is of the utmost importance. He should immediately eliminate sugar from his diet as cancer feeds on sugar.
