"Solution Mix: We have read to add anywhere from 1 teaspoon up 1 tablespoon of calcium hydroxide/oxide to 1 gallon of water, but the well rounded 1 teaspoon equation is the amount suggested most often.
The preparation and mixing of a KW solution is very important. If too much carbon dioxide is allowed to enter the mix, it causes calcium carbonate to form, which appears as an undissolved white residue that settles to the bottom of the container. This cannot be used and will need to be removed from the solution and disposed of. Don't mix more than one gallon of solution at a time. Each time the container is opened and the solution is used, it gets exposed to more carbon dioxide, and more calcium is lost."

The main thing I would look at is, do you see any residue of the CH in the bottom of your alkalizing drink after you mix it? I never do.

This is a reply to # 1,413,143I leave out the residue. I let it settle, then strain the whole limewater mix in a coffee filter carefully leaving the undisolved residue behind.
I use one T limewater per drink, along with about a T of squeezed lemon juice. few granules of ES per drink. little pinch of kelp and T of BSM. Mixed with filtered water. It tastes great like this and I like the effect, my kids also like it, so no trouble getting them to drink it!- --I am happy for you--BUT-- moreless

This is a reply to # 1,413,157How is wanting to learn being a control freak? I simply want to understand amounts and ratios, so that I can compare them to what is known to be proper ratio amounts of calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus and so on.
In addition, I have added a high sulfur drink (garlic, horseradish combo) that I have found extremely beneficial and have noticed a huge difference in my fingernail and hair growth!

Answer: The Control Freak was in reference to the Whole context of your recent posts of wanting to find one mix ratio that will fit everyones needs regardless of that each person is an Individual with Different needs !
Just pointing out that even --YOU-- have found different ratios to benefit you more than others !
Why do you feel so offended then that others may find Different ratios Better for themself?

This is a reply to # 1,413,201The Moreless Alkalizing drink has greatly benefited my family. Since finding the right balance in this drink we have all experienced a sense of well being. I feel and look younger and my kids have improved in school performance and their attitudes are much improved (both at home and school).
The most notable improvement is that I wake up happy and full of life! I was never a morning person, but now I love waking up and feel charged and ready to go! I have also noticed that my kids are easier to get up in the am!!
My health has never been better!

garlic cloves
horseradish root
onion
ginger root
cayenne peppers
Puree in food processor or can be put thru a juicer, take pulp and liquid and put into a glass jug and add apple cider vinegar to fill jug.
Allow to sit for about a month, shaking on occassion.
Shake before each use. Take about 1 tsp of the slushy mix, add some honey and lemon, put in a cup with water and strain, then drink. Tastes terible, but you will be protected from any life sucking vampires (pathogens).
I started taking this because of the FLU concerns, but I found that the drink had nutrients (minerals) in it that boosted my hair and nail growth!- Re: --I am happy for you--BUT-- refreshed

Answer: Each of these foods may be Powerful Alkalizing foods and the better the Quality(Higher their Brix) the Better they may work?
These all have been suggested before by others over the years and any herbalist worth his Salt has known about their Values !
Many have made tintures as you suggested you have made and have made good use of them to help Heal !

This is a reply to # 1,413,242aha! I love this stuff--have to make some more. The second time I made it i used a chinese garlic, *going against my intuition* and the taste was awful. But the first time, it was very good- if intense. As always, High Brix makes all the difference.
I know this as the "anti-plague tonic" and gave a large bottle to my son, (the slushy mix). He took it to a theatre festival/retreat centre and everyone there loved it. They liked it just as a condiment, ate it by the spoonful.
No one got sick, as often people will, after those intense weeks' working togther.

Answer: This may depend upon the amount of Calcium Hydroxide each person decides to put into the gallon of water for their stock solution of Lime water, and if they are using Distilled water and if they have shook the solution before pulling the Tablespoonful of Lime water out of the stock solution?
This is not that Important !
This is getting into the details and as I have repeated the Devil is in the Details !
Are you choosing to be in bed with the Devil?
What is Important is How one uses this stock solution of Lime water in the Alkalizing Drink to mix in the drink?
What I have suggested is one needs to adjust the amount of Lime water in the drink to the amount of Weak Acids used, be it Lemon Juice or ACV(ACV should not be used by folks with Weak Adrenals, it may be better for them to use Lemon Juice)?
This is done by adding enough of the Lime water to cut these week Acids and take away the Acid taste, but --NOT-- use enough to Cause the drink to taste Chaulky !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I suggest shaking the jar of stock solution before pulling the amount of Lime water for the drink as this will load more into the solution, as some always settles to the bottom of the jar, for the water can only hold so much in solution.
This is the formula that each person may use to adjust the amount of Lime Water to How much Lemon or ACV they choose to use so that they may end up with the best Balance between the Acids and Lime Water !
Seeking to adjust the drink to this Balance may provide the best mix for the many Different variations that each person may mix?
Why do I state this?
Consider that each Lemon may be of different size and Different brix reading which may change the amount of Acids in it?
Because this may Best match up the Lime water to the Acids present and may provide for the Most Electro-magnetic Energy release !
It is the Electro-magnetic Energy that our bodys must have to Power our bodys and help Heal !
