It doesn't sound like herpes, but you need to see a doctor to be sure. No unprotected sex in the meantime and please do not touch, scratch or "pinch" it with your bare hands. On the off chance that it is herpes, you should know that it spreads very easily and you can infect other parts of your body if you are touching the area and then touching other parts. Always wash your hands thoroughly if you come in accidental contact with the area. I always use a little bleach when washing my hands just to be on the safe side.
