...why throw fuel on a fire by asking
this question? It is obvious that it
can cause significant problems and it
is also obvious that it is something
that is not easily managed.
In a perfect world...
Meanwhile, wading through the BS has
become business as usual. Fortunately,
there does seem to be a strong focus
on limiting it to the
Debate Forums .
The issue is cyclic, like the full
moon syndrome. You think things have
gotten better then the madness begins
again. What is a person to do?? I
personally think hiding the debate
forums is a good option. If you find
yourself unable to do this, then look
at that as an issue where you can
best serve yourself by taking a time
out or become better at squaring off
with those who would like to duke it
out with you. No doubt, this topic
will continue to be a hot one for
years to come.
Myself, I have only ever used one
ID. Generally, I play well with others
so find it easy to limit myself.
Others seem to lack that self-control
and are invested in their contentions
enough to resurrect themselves over
and over again.
Until the
Webmaster comes up with
something akin to poster kryptonite,
we are doomed to face the reality
of multiple aliases.
best wishes,
Zoe
