I just took frozen bananas and frozen black cherries (no sauce) and threw them in a food processor for Black Cherry Sorbet!
Over here, there is a special sorbet (acai) and they serve it with fresh cut bananas, berries and granola on top. I may be experimenting with all kinds of easy sorbet 'cause this was quick and so good.
Yes, it was soft sorbet, then it was too much so I froze part of it. Frozen sorbet is harder then ice cream, but let it sit in room temp for 20-30 minutes and it takes on a more ice cream like consistency. To this I may add fresh sliced bananas and berries and occasionally granola.
Thanks girlfriend I'll be making some sorbet this weekend, there are so many possibilities for different flavors and its healthy too. Can't ask for more than that.
