I am not meaning this in a rude taunting way but I am glad to see you(CSB) posting a retort different than the usual mocking.
It is true, its rare for a politician to pay themselves DIRECTLY out of the campaign money. Most politician already are super wealthy and recieve pay from elsewhere(usually lawyers!) Most politicians receive their travel/meals and other such living expenses paid out of their OWN campaign money. So that in itself is a kind of "pay". While him receiving pay from his campaign being unorthodox and maybe not the best idea it was never illegal.

The money donated to a campaign fund is suppose to be used for expenses of the campaign and pay for staff and putting himself on the payroll, along with his staff in his campaign may have been all he could have done at the time for his fiances. I do not agree that it should have been 100K but who am I too judge that's between him and his donaters and campaign staff. I am not to big on the idea of his pay amount.

If that was the ONLY thing the press could find I say that is definitely so much less than the LONG list against Obama!
