I'm so happy that i found theis site because now i now hundreds of people are going through the same thing. my story
in september i'm starting uni first year during that summer i noticed a musky smell (like fish) even though the GP said she couldn't smell anything. so she gave me
Antibiotics to sort the problem out. started uni everything is fine i smell good no worrys. then it's october and i started noticing a feces smell because i travel on train and tube to go uni i thought it was just the tube because of the toilets then i thought it was someone else. it was during winter so i had a cold during that time so i ignored it. then i started to realise that when i got to uni people around me were covering their noses even the teachers, so embarrassing. but then i didn't think it was the smell i thought i had something in my nose that they were signalling me. then in november i took time off uni because i thought it was getting too embarrassing it was harder to talk to people about it because they were new students that i just meet so they wouldn't understand. so i think i'm branded as the girl who smellls like feces =( i went back for one week in december but the same reaction. then the new year in january we had a big moudle 50% which would have been half my grade so i decided to face the embarrassment just to get a good grade which i did yay. by the way ever since october i had made regular trips to the GP about my feces problem she even checked my anus and said theere was nothing there. she said exactly the same thing that she didn't know what it was and couldn't smell anything. so i thought it was just in my head but no people that were even a meter away from me were rubbing their noses. in january i paid to get my colon hydrothrapy which was fine but the smell remained the colon hydrothrapy was too expensive so i thought they were just robbing me off my money because they could see i was desperate. i thought there must me a natural solution. i started doing more search asking stupid Q's like "help i smell like poo" then i found a few people who had similar problems but they never came back to tell anyone what they did to get better again. then i done more research until now i noticed that a change of diet was the problem. so i'm going vegetarian for a while and doing colon clense and food a list of good foods which you should include in your diet.
1) prebiotics
2) probiotics
3) antioxidants
4) fitness
5) most important filtered/mineral water 6-8 glasses depending on your height
but i'm going to GP tomorrow to let her know and give me some probiotics medicine to speed the process
hope you don't suffer in silence and i'll try and help you live a happier life.
