This is a reply to # 13,806Coconut milk is made from the meat of the coconut.
Coconut water is the liquid inside the coconut.
You cannot make water from the milk.

This is a reply to # 13,798I believe it works well too. My grandmother used to put us on whole-day-only-coconut-water regimens, even for stomach problems and mild fevers.
Good tip. I'll try this the next time. Please do post your experiences and results with coconut water.

You need fresh whole coconut. I have seen them for sale in groceries stores. If you cannot find any try talking to the manager of the fresh produce department and ask that coconuts be ordered for you. Hope this helps.

This is a reply to # 13,826You will laugh at this.....we live in a condo on the eighth floor....there ARE trees here, but the maintaince men have to cut off the coconuts before they ripen to prevent them from falling on people's heads! Yes, people DO get hit in the head with coconuts in Hawaii.....they do not look UP and see the coconuts.....*S* If one is lucky enough to find a tree with ripe coconuts, usually there is a sign telling you it is against the law to pick them!
Now isn't this hilarious? Living in Hawaii and have to actually buy coconuts if we want em!?

i live in miami, and there is tons of coconut water in the stores. maybe there is a goya website where u can purchase it online, its sold in small cans, so it can travel in the mail. good luck finding it, and if all else fails, email me and i can buy it for u and send it to u if u pay for it.

I live in the DR too! My family and I just moved down from Florida. My husband is originally from here, and we all just love it! What a great place. Thanks for the info about the Coco Frio! Everybody has been telling me how good it is for you, but I had no idea it could clean the kidneys well enough to get stones out. Fantastic! And cheap, too! I was wondering how I was going to get all of the herbs on Dr. Clark's list down here and now I don't have to.
