I've tried everything to remove my facial hair. I used to shave everyday but got sick of the fact that no matter what I did you could still tell that there was something going on on my neck, chin, jaw line, and upper lip. I have a lot of facial hair and it is very dark and very thick. I finally broke down and bought an epilator. I love it. You won't get ingrown hairs if you exfoliate daily or twice daily. It hurts like crazy at first especially if you have a lot of hair but I gotta tell you that not having to shave everyday is an amazing experience. I do touch ups a couple times a week and not because it's visually noticable but because I can feel stuff sprouting. Also, IT IS A MYTH THAT YOUR HAIR GROWS THICKER FROM SHAVING!!!! The reason that it feels thicker is because you are cutting off the tip of the hair so it's a flat edge. You've cut the hair in a thicker spot then if you just had let it grow to a point. I have two epilators. One for the larger areas like on my neck and then a little one for the curves of my chin. I wish I had found these torture devices earlier!! After the second time I used it the pain decreased significantly. Try it. Exfoliate regularly and you will be a very happy woman! I promise!
