An Infectious Disease physician needs to be consulted if you aren't currently being treated by one.

Bone infections are long-term, there are no quick-fix options. If you have any other chronic health conditions, that can extend the treatment time further.

What were the sensitivity results of your culture(s)? Do they include doxycycline or tri-sulfa?

Do you have any hardware implants?

I contracted MRSA in an ortho procedure, and my treatment included 12weeks vanco, 8weeks dapto, then doxycycline orally for 10 months. I also had multiple surgeries to clean out and remove damaged bone. I'm taking additional calcium, iron and magnesium to support bone healing.

I have heard of research being done in England using therapeutic-grade essential oils to treat MRSA. Below are some notes I took down concerning this research:

The question of how much to take/use can only be answered by individual circumstance. Things that will make a difference in how much and how long; Some things to consider about your body’s condition: The more inflammation, acid, mucus in your body, the more essential oil you need to get the results you are looking for.

Colloidal Silver has been shown to be very effective against MRSA. It also increases the effectiveness of the Drugs that the pathogen is resistant to.

The "Beck Protocol" uses Colloidal Silver as one of its modalities. The magnetic pulser used with the Beck Protocol might be effective for the infection in the bone.

You should get a good silver machine as you will have to about drink 8 ounces per day.

We had mrsa in our family, from the ocean water in hawaii. after the Antibiotics , it kept coming back. we used cats claw ( una de gato) for 2-3 months. a tincture. finally, its gone. i would put the claw tincture right into the wound, as well as take it 3x daily. also watch your diet. be clean internally, not too much processed foods etc.
I also opened doxycycline capsules and put them into the wound.

Your best bet would be to get access to a corona discharge ozone machine. One of the biggest problems with bone infections is trying to whatever you are treating with to where it needs to go. Much of the bone tissue does not have enough of a blood supply to get treatments to it. Ozone on the other hand rapidly goes in to all the tissues, including bone. Since the infection is in the mastoid you can use the ozone through ear insufflation. Basically lay your head sideways and let the ozone blow in to the ear under low pressure. The ozone weighs more than air and will "fall" in to the ear canal where it rapidly crosses the tympanic membrane.

Ozone is a very powerful oxidizer and immune stimulant. It destroys pathogens through a variety of mechanisms including by reacting with lipids in their cell membranes forming lipid peroxides. This destroys the pathogens and creates immune stimulating peroxides. Hydrogen peroxide created by the reaction of ozone on water will also kill pathogens and is required for the activation of antimicrobial white blood cells. Ozone also stimulates the formation of antioxidant and immune stimulatory enzymes catalase, glutathione peroxidase, selenium methionine peroxidase and superoxide dismutase.

The recommended length of treatments will depend a lot on the strength of the machine. It should be repeated 3 to 4 times daily though. And remember to try and keep the ozone out of your lungs as much as possible. You can keep a rag above the side of your mouth on the side you are treating to keep ozone inhalation down. If you start getting a headache or uncontrolled coughing it is time to stop. And be extra careful if you are asthmatic as ozone can trigger attacks.

You can find ozone units inexpensively on Ebay. The ones for aquariums will actually work in pinch and can be found for about $30. Or borrow a better unit if you know anyone with one.

I suggest using Lugol's Iodine, or another form of iodine.

Also keep the infected area warm all of the time.
