Per my other post, I think this junk is Chlamydia Pneumoniae. I'm open to any other suggestions. It should respond to Doxycycline, which I have avoided taking. At any rate, I forgot to mention the sticky, irritating goop from the eyes. I think me and my bud have had this in a milder form for a couple of years, recurring in the spring and fall. This year it is very bad, and I think this still unidentified syndrome was responsible for an atypical pneumonia that killed a couple of unrelated kids near Springfied, Missouri. They were treated for pneumonia, went home, and relapsed.
This stuff is exhausting like mono, but also switch hits from the left to right side of the head, drains really toxic junk into the lungs, and produces the thickest mucus imaginable. I suggest that households keep some generic Guiafenesin ONLY cough syrup with no action-blocking salicylate/menthol; or get MUCINEX, time-release Guiafenesin in the event this hits home. May the Great Physician grant us miracles of healing.
