I apologize if I'm overlooking something, but does anybody test themselves via CAT scan first to check for sure whether they have Gallstones or kidney stones?
And can CAT scan accurately (if at all) check for liver biliary duct congestion?- Hello Maiden! Southern Belle

Yes, there are many posts on this forum from people who have been told they have Gallstones and needed surgery IMMEDIATELY!
They did the flush and avoided surgery.
Somewhere, way back in the archives, you will find a story of someone who was in the hospital to have the surgery the nest day. A friend brought the liver cleanse to the hospital, the person agreed to do the cleanse and passed stones and avoided surgery. Honest!

This is a reply to # 134,951A year ago I had a pelvic CAT scan (due to my urethral bleeding). The test results were "normal".
Just today, in addition to pelvic CAT scan, I had an abdominal CAT scan, due to my recent nocturnal abdominal pains & heaviness, and also as followup to my recent urinary tract infection. However, because of my tiny veins they were unable to IV contrast. Would the results still be accurate?
Note that at least three "alternative" practitioners informed me that I have a sick liver.
Now here's what I'm faced with:
What if the CAT scan results state that I'm "normal" again. Do I believe it? Or do I believe the alternative pr's?

This is a reply to # 134,942Ultrasound showed I had gallstones. I did 5 cleanses and had another US, I still have stones. I have only passed a few stones during my cleanse. Maybe I'm doing something wrong because I have not seen the results others on the forum have. I haven't given up yet, I am doing my 6th cleanse today. I don't think I am going to be able to get down all the olive oil and grapefruit juice today. Someone mentioned we should not whine about how bad it is because it might discourage someone from trying it. Sometimes it helps to talk to others who have been thru the same thing. Wish me luck!

This is a reply to # 134,958I agree Linda. Don't worry, I was in tears on Sunday thinking I would never be able to drink it again after not even being able to keep down a mouthful. Well, guess what? Now, I can't wait for a free day to try again!! Shame my life is so busy. Never give up, the calcium stones are the ones that show up in ultrasounds not the green bile ones. YOu need to improve your liver function and bile flow to be able to get down to the calcium ones. One day, you may have the stamina to drink more oil and hence have more chance of getting the calcium ones out. i have never gotten them out but have lived with them with minimal problems for 7 years. It's when the GB gets banked up with the little green ones that the problems start. Keep flushing and try people's suggested variations to make it easier for yourself.
