No, not using the wrong side. But I really think I was probably over wetting the socks, and the neophrene I think makes me sweat. The neophrene definitely doesn't breathe. All I do know for sure is that my skin feels really moist after I take the band off, and is a bit irritated from it (have gotten a slight itchy rash where the electrodes go on both wrists). I've only used the SP Lite three days so far, but didn't last night because of the rash. It's cleared up enough today that I'll start up again tonight.

Yes. If you get the socks to wet the electricity will spread out on top of the skin and you're more likely to get a rash. If your body chemistry is to acidic it could also cause a rash.
I do find the rash interesting. It's just like an unexplained one started to get in the summers 20 years ago, and then off and on thereafter, same places on my arms back then. Sometimes those rashes had coincided with having hot dogs, so I figured I was having issues with
nitrates or other
additives put in the hot dogs. I'm sure the rash is either detox, or a metal allergy (I do have issues with "cheap" gold or gold plated jewelry (it's probably the nickel), so I avoid those like the plague, and these parts of my arms were always the most sensitive AND the metal allergy also was a similar rash).
Getting the band on and electrodes is difficult for me. If I position the electrodes first and then try to get the band on, things shift. And if I do what some people do and put the strap on first and then slid the electrodes in under, it's hard to tell if the electrodes are properly positioned—with a small wrist and the band blocking the view, it's hard to tell if the electrodes twisted and might not be where they are supposed to—that's the difficulty with this method. So I was wondering about Scar Solution. I guess I'll just give it a try tonight. I've still got a box put away from some surgery I had back in 2005.

I put the straps on first then slide the socks- electrodes under the strap. Then add water with a dropper. After a while you will have the places on the wrists memorized and it will get easier. I think you can feel the difference if the electrodes are placed correctly or not.
I guess you could try another method as long as it works for you it shouldn't make any difference.
