As you may know, when president Barry Soetero aka Barack Hussein (H) Obama was administered the Oath of Office, the Chief Justice John Roberts flubbed the words of the oath, and of course Barry aka Barack followed and flubbed, and did not properly attest to the oath.
On January 21, the oath was re-administered in a private ceremony, however absent the Lincoln bible. Per news sources, no bible was used during the swearing of the oath.
Conclusion: he has yet to properly take the oath of office.
Was the flub deliberate? One would think that a Chief Justice and a President Elect who taught constitutional law would KNOW the correct oath forwards and backwards in their sleep.
After all, the oath IS in the Constitution!
Should we be concerned? Can he be held to his oath if it was not according to standards?
I am not sure how to take the issue yet, but it is highly troubling. No original proof of birth has ever been provided wit no reasonable explanation why not, other records have been hidden away with no plausible explanation, and now possibly no valid oath of office?
Do we have a constitutionally valid President or not?

Why should watching a socialst being sworn in during economic meltdown and deficits everywhere spend HUGE amounts of money for a ceremony! They are sure going to learn allot from that! They will learn that even in the middle of world econmoic hardship TAX money still can be thrown around for show. I think people who always have to watch "events" by the press ang get their veiws from them are the ignorant ones!

You aren't making any sense to me. I said the politicians know exactly what they are doing - lining their pockets with money. I was speaking in particular about the Republican politicians who have had reign over the masses for the past 8 years. The masses who elected them are the ignorant ones. I was speaking in particular about the Republican politicians who have had reign over the masses for the past 8 years.
CSB doesn't seem to realize that the republicans have not had control over the masses over the past eight years. Just because Bush was the president doesn't mean that republicans had control. The constitution attempted to establish a balance of power so that not one person could reign over a country. Look at the 2006 election results.

The party of concervatism has no business reigning over the masses. Apparently and unfortunately, some republicans are not conservatives. Conservatism is not about any sort of reign or power over the masses. How can government create wealth and prosperity? Conservatism is partly about conserving the constitution.

This issue crosses party lines as both reps and dems answer to the same handlers, there is no difference. Politicos on both main parties are fed by the same hand,and like any good dog, they will do as told...because going against the machine could signal their political demise. I think you would have cared greatly. I didn't see it happen in any past inaugurations. An entire school district near me was CLOSED for the day. And I know of several other schools that were closed for the day. When has that happened ever in the past? I understand the historical significance of having the first half African-American being president, it's about time, but this is God worship, so far beyond anything racial.
DQ, I think your previous post should be "required" in schools in honor of the Fairness Doctrine. Let's teach our kids to critically think once again; let's teach them about propaganda.

Hmmm not watching an inguration is ignorant. Give me a flippen break. Just because I didn't watch the HUGE fanfair/worship about a guy doesn't mean I don't know whats going on. My 6th grade daughter knows more about whats going on than you! Esp. if you think all the problems were caused by Bush! It was the Dem. who had the senate power. Clintons adm. did allot of damage before BUsh as well as banks and corp. and on and on. Bush may have been a pathetic pres. but you give him way more credit than he deserves. This is a reply to # 1,341,466The purpose of education/school is to expose the student to new experiences and ideas. The presidential inauguration happens every 4 years, so that is education. I am talking about the education of children, not adults. If you don't want to watch, that's fine, but to deride the school because they have the students watch it. Well, it just doesn't make sense that you would want your children to have less experience than their classmates. It's not about which side of the political page you are on, it's just simple education.

Education should teach our children to understand the meaning of the U.S. history(which isn,t taught in our schools today),The young ones are the easiest to indoctrinate. As far as I,m concerned, schools are a failure and are trying to take away the parental responsibility away from the parents, because they know what's best for our children.Simple education as you put it, should involve history(right or wrong)..understanding what honesty and truth is all about, and basic teachings about how this nation was created, fought for and the sacrifices made by all, who believed in the sacrifices being asked of them. Yes, it is not the most perfect...but it is the best we can find. I have no desire to get into the politics of it, but...do not expose your children to the one side view of our so called teaching institutions...for they are flawed and have only one intention...to teach our children to accept what is wrong for what is right.Advertisement
