Hello!
I have been reading alot about candida on the internet over the last weeks, as well as reading and incorporating the advices in Donna Gates book Body Ecology Diet.
I was sure that I had candida because the symptoms described fits me very well. I'm 25 years old and have struggled with indigestion for at least the last 5 years and before that I had some problems with a stinging sensation while urinating for a couple of years. This was after I had used antibiotics for acne for probably about a year. Last fall my stomach became more and more bloated as I was eating alot of fruit. I was also pretty constipated. In the end I noticed that just a single banana could make me feel pretty uncomfortable in the stomach. I suspected candida and as soon as I started reading about it I felt assured that was the case.
So I started BED and immediately felt completely drained of energy and had a constant mild fever for a few days just as expected. However, the other day I went to see a chiropractor/nutritional expert who did some muscle testing and found that I have parasites, for which he gave me Aschwaganda and Canadian Yellowroot(?). But he couldn't find any indication of yeast overgrowth, and he told me that it was nothing to worry about. I could even eat dried fruits he said. I was a bit surprised by this and I'm currently trying to research more about this so that I can make my own decisions about what to eat and not. I'm thinking that perhaps his muscle testing was not 100% reliable and since I had been on the BED a couple of weeks, that maybe the symptoms were gone.
I found your website and it gives me a very good impression. So I thought about consulting you as well. But the thing is that it's becoming a bit confusing since I have many things going at the same time: the BED, the anti-parasite regimen, and I have also consulted with Dr Schlesinger from modernherbalist.com, and ordered his rotational protocol, (I'll paste a list of all the supplements at the end). He recommended me to focus on getting my digestion going better, since I'm extremely bloated. He suggested some brown rice with fish for breakfast, and to start slowly with the rotational protocal when it arrives.
But to be honest I don't feel that I have gathered enough knowledge yet to feel sure about what I'm doing. I thought perhaps I'de better wait a bit with the anti-candida preparates and just stay with the anti-parasite for a couple of month while keeping the sugar low. But I've heard so many different advices that I feel really confused about what would be the smartest approach.
Your site is really the most comprehensive I've come across so I'm hoping that perhaps you can lead me in the right direction. I'm considering to order your testing kit because it would be so much easier if I could keep some kind of track about what is going on.
Thank you very much!
