Hi Paul, it's been a while... how has everything been going for you?
Anyway, I have a couple questions again to help me understand some things more clearly:
-You mentioned a couple months ago that for Ozonating Ground Meats (like Chicken or Turkey) that you should do it in a bag. What type of bag is suitable material and can you recommend some?
-I'd like to buy a nice Ozone Air Purifier for my bedroom to run 24 hours a day continuously. I was looking at the Model 308 from Aqua Sun (the one that I originally wanted to buy) but the measily 6 month warranty makes me a bit hesitant. Do you have any experience with this model? Can you recommend any other reliable/durable ozone purifiers?
-What are the Health Benefits related to constantly inhaling Ozone and drinking Ozonated water/olive oil? Am I right in assuming that inhaling Ozone gets instantly absorbed into your bloodstream, providing constant detoxifying and healing benefits? Please feel free to elaborate.

The only other air purifier I have personal experience with is the OZX A200 or 500B from Enaly. Unlike their pathetic water purifiers these Enaly units actually will last their warranty of a year and beyond and the replacement plates are very inexpensive.
As for health benefits, I can only tell you of my own experience. Ozone is my room air has purified my lungs of over 30 years of intense cigarette and cigar smoking. My last chest x-ray showed no shadows whatsoever and they got a clean bill of health from the doc.
I feel that if the ozone is needed in the immediate area of the alveola in the lungs to break down toxins, it never makes it to the blood stream. If there is nothing in the lungs to oxidize then it will make it to the blood stream. Ozone does not care what it combines with. It's mission is to become a balanced, stable molecule. Each ozone atom will combine with the first unstable or oxidizable molecule it encounters. If that happens to be a bacteria/virus/mold spore/yeast etc then that is as far as it goes. If it is a dead,diseased or dying cell, then that is a far as it goes. If it is a free radical in the blood, it will combine with that free radical creating a less harmful radical or a stable molecule. This is what I have come to believe.

Besides the chest x-rays, have you notice any overall health improvements, minor or dramatic) with the long-term, continuous ozone breathing? I find that I'm in my bedroom 90% of the time that I'm at home, and I'm a person very much into holistic health and ways to improve it. Inhaling ozone 24/7 and drinking ozonated water over the long term seems like it would provide great health improvements.
Anything else you can share about the above and health is welcomed and appreciated!

AquaSun products are as good or better than any other inexpensive small ozone units on the market. There are a lot worse out there in cyberspace. I have heard several horror stories from people who bought bargain brands and had them fail in a few hours of use. That has not been the feedback I've got about AquaSun products. Sure the odd one has a flaw, but the company is very quick to make any problems good.
As for health benefits from breathing ozone, I have never really had any major health challenges to deal with, so my use of ozone has been more preventative than curative. I look at it this way. Because of the jet stream there is no such thing as pure air anywhere on the planet anymore. The EPA and other environmental agencies all tell us that indoor air is more polluted than outdoor air for a number of reasons. Dis-ease is about toxicity of the body to a large extent and many of the toxins are introduced through the air we breathe. If we choose to purify the air we breathe indoors with ozone, we take in less toxins for a significant amount of our life on this planet. Less toxins equals less dis-ease or at least a greater chance for the natural immunity of the body to deal with toxins and microbes. drinking ozonated water makes sense because it is an easy way to get an increased amount of oxygen into an otherwise oxygen starved body. Unless we are doing aerobics and/or deep breathing daily, I think we are all oxygen deprived on this planet at this time in history.

This is a reply to # 1,310,511Thanks Paul, your reply helped me understand much better. I'll take your word for it that Aqua Sun is reputable and will buy the 308 2-in-1 Ozone/Ion Purifier. I'm not too sure about it's Ion output, but it says High setting for Ozone is 24mg/h. I'm guessing that is sufficient and perhaps even overkill for my 12x12 bedroom? This unit will be used with in combination with an all-around air purifier from Surround Air as well, both of which will be operating 24/7 continuously. I can't imagine even a single particle of dust, dirt or contaminant would survive in the air at all with both of these going around the clock - not to mention how much more Oxygen my body will be absorbing when I'm in the room (should have some restful nights of sleep).

Would something like the OZX A200 or 500B help me if I have fluid in my lungs? My last function test with the lung doctor I only had like 38 percent air capability.

If you have that much fluid in your lungs, a large amount of ozone could actually make it worse in the short term. However if the amount of ozone in the air were carefully monitored and kept within tolerable limits, I believe you would see a benefit from having purer air to breathe. As time went by, I suspect you would be able to tolerate more and more parts per million of ozone in your environment.

In your case I would start very slowly. Even a purifier producing a real amount of 12mg per hour in a small 10 by 10 room would be more than sufficient to start with if it were running constantly. Most output claims of purifiers are grossly exaggerated. Even the Enaly does not put out what it says it does. I would guestimate the Enaly 200 at 60 to 80 mg per hour. Get a machine that is fully adjustable from 0 to full output so you can adjust it as you get used to the amount of ozone.

The Enaly is OK and you can adjust it with a remote control to be "On" for greater or lesser times. There are several selectable duty cycles on the Enaly that give you so many minutes on VS so many minutes off. The AquaSun Ozone model 308 is fully adjustable from 5 to 22 mg per hour and I think that AquaSun's ratings are very real.
I say probably because it costs over 5000 US for an analyzer that will definitively measure ozone output.
There are inexpensive ozone badges available online if you look hard enough that will give you a rough estimation of ozone levels in room air in parts per million. The EPA's safe level of ozone exposure on a constant basis is .04 ppm, .08 in any eight hour work period.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to compare mg/hr and ppm. Milligrams per hour is a measure of the molecular weight of the ozone produced by an ozonator in a one hour period of time. Parts per million is a volumetric measurement of the number of ozone molecules in a million equal parts of air. They do not directly correlate except in an ideal lab situation where the test area is of a known volume, the test area is sterile (nothing to oxidize) the temperature is constant and air movement in the test area controlled. Only then would one be able to correlate the two where X mg/hr produced XY ppm.
In a real world you may be able to smell the ozone from a machine producing 20mg in a room that has relatively clean air, but the same 20 mg in a cigarette-filled smoky room would not even be noticed until it had eliminated the smoke chemicals in the air.
20 mg/hr does not sound like much, but over time it is plenty enough to remove even serious odors in 12X12 room.

Understand two different units of measurement.
so I just need to watch my body? Should I put this unit in a non used room and just sit for a couple hours or should I do it while sleeping? Also, I think that like you posted to someone else says what ozone will destroy as in plastics and so on.
I just ordered the enlay 200....figured it would be decent to start with, just not totally sure how to do this. I was going to put it on low for a week, then next level for a week and so on until I have some symptoms. But since it is a "small" until it will be in a small room that we are not always in - that is where I wonder how to make it therapudic.

I would move the unit around the house with you wherever you spend most of your time. Although it is true that ozone will decompose rubber stuff like VCR belts, the output of the Enaly will not be strong enough to do this anytime soon. I would also use it sleeping, but start off very slow. Like I said earlier, too much ozone could make lung edema worse.
Use your nose as a guide. The nose detects ozone at around .01 to .03 ppm. The nose is also lazy and gets used to new smells rather quickly so that even though they have not gone away, they are no longer detected. this is why the dual-scent air deodorizers work so well to mask odors (although I would never recommend these chemical laden types of air treatments) After the ozonator has operated for a while in the room, go outside or to another area of the house for a few minutes and then re-enter the area where the machine is running. If you smell ozone faintly, it probably is not enough and can be turned up. If it is real strong and makes you want to hold your breath or cough, obviously turn it down. Any level will be therapeutic. More is not necessarily better. What you have to achieve is a balance of air purification/sterilization VS personal comfort and safety.
