I recently discovered Agave nectar, and was thrilled! If you google it, you will see many sites that sell it and show how it is made. I have an Agave plant and it has THREE pups! I am going to replant the pups and try making my own Agave nectar! When the bloom comes, you dig it out and daily abuse the crater (because the plant tries to heal itself), and the sap will run into the crater. I noticed a neighbor who has 4 plants and they are all in bloom. You do NOT have to heat it either. There are virgin Agave nectars, and all kinds. I'm lucky! I live in the land of the bountiful citrus, olives, avocados and agave! So Calif desert!
It is recommended for diabetics, which is great, and I wonder why on curezone you get so many negatives about Splenda, and the only thing they can think of to replace sugar is that horrible Stevia. Why nobody suggests Agave Nectar is a mystery to me!
