I rather imagine that the Russia is less than happy about the prospects of contending with bear hating nutcase Zbigniew Brezenski again. Once we operated under the illusion that we defeated the Russian commies once and for all by spending them into submission. Now it is us who has been virtually bankrupted by the international bankers, had our armed forces stretched too thin because of two wars of mass deception and Russia who is flush with money due to the development of their oil fields. And I think they are quite likely aching for a rematch down the road.
It was Bush by the way who claimed he knew ol' Putin was a heck of a nice guy by looking into his eyes. Putin is probably still laughing about that quote and the blank eyes he looked back at.
