My TAP WATER has a PH of 8.5 and a ORP = 400
BRITA FILTERED WATER( which I have replaced 3 days ago) has PH = 6.9 and ORP = 450
Looks like the filter removes many minerals good and bad from my water. Looks like there is a real need to re-mineralise my filtered water as well. Sea-salt is one option. What else can I use to re-mineralise/ alkalize the water?

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,292,481Distilled / RO / Filtered water is not really bad, as long as we take the measures to remineralise it adequately. But many ppl fail to do so....
Water Ionization also sounds interesting to me. Reducing the cluster size of water, to make it more hydrating, making it more electron rich.. etc etc.
Do u own a ionizer. They are expensive units. Hope price will come down eventually.

This is a reply to # 1,292,522You know, I borrowed an ionizer for a couple of
weeks and did ionize my water. It made me feel
too jazzed and I did not like the way it felt.
I do have a system though that makes Pi-Mag water
which I do feel good about. For the most part,
we have really sweet tasting well water and so
we have an excellent filter system and we drink
that more than anything.

Water being a universal solvent and 70% of our body as water, water needs a lot of attention. I have been drinking BRITA filtered water upto now, but now I am not so sure about its health benefits. It reduces the PH of tap water from 8.5 to 6.9. So it must be affecting the hardness of water as well by taking away the alkaline minerals.
Distilled and RO water were never in my list to start with ( thank god)
I am also interested to see, if ionized water or magnetized water has lowered Surface Tension.
Can you test if you Pi-Mag water lowers the Surface Tension of water. Its a simple experiment.
Take 10 clean pennies and line them on flat table. Using dropper, add drops of water to penny. Add water w/o splashing and count the # of drops, till the water comes out of penny. Do this 10 times and get an average.
If less # of drops stay in penny, it means the ST of water is low.
Perform the experiment with normal tap water and Pi-mag water, and compare the results. I have performed this experiment and noticed, soap water has lowered ST, which salty and sugary solution has slightely increase ST.

This is a reply to # 1,294,031Whoa, that's a really interesting graph! I prefer to use filtered water because even the best municipal water supplies miss loads of impurities and toxins, and they even add things like chlorine. We have a Brita refrigerator filter, and I can taste the difference when it is one versus when it is off.
