This is a delicious recipe for you to try while you work up the courage. It will cleanse your guts:
Boil a spaghetti whole squash until tender. Stick it with a knife or a tooth pick after it's been boiling for about 15 or 20 minutes and if it's tender, it's done. How long you boil it depends on how big the squash is. Run cool water over it, cut it in half and fork the seeds out. Then shred the spaghetti into a bowl.
Spaghetti Sauce:
1/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1/3 cup wheat free shoyu
1 small clove garlic
1 small piece of ginger, peeled
Put ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend well.
Pour over warm shredded spaghetti squash.
Yum Yum. Good for guts.
You can also put the squash over Kale and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Yum Yum too.
