No problems at all so far, as usual. Normally I do 7 - 10 day fasts, however I have had a 3 month break of eating good healthy food, and I only have 19Kg (42 pounds) left to lose to reach my goal. However I do know that I put on 6Kg when I end a fast, so I am sure there will be more work to do after the end of this fast, no matter how hard I try. That can be done in the new year, if I do a long one now.
I started fasting on 14 November 2007, so my year's anniversary is coming up. So it would be nice to end that year with a bit of an effort. A long fast now would mean I would be refeeding over the Christmas period, ideal for social reasons. I should be completely sorted by next Spring.

I have only just passed the lowest point I reached back in June before my diving medical, but I have had a break and feel much more prepared for it now.
My target of 59Kg represents half the body weight I was on 14 November 2007. As I get nearer the target, I will be examining my body fat percentage and actual fat on my body (by pinching it off with my fingers). Thus the target may be adjusted slightly as I approach it. However if 59Kg is correct, it will be fun to say at some point that I am now half the weight I was in 2007.
