I heard that the reason you can't move when you are waking up sometimes is because you have just had an outer body experience and are returning to your body or something like that. I believe that is related to metaphysics beliefs. I had that experience once a log time ago and prior to then when a little younger I had an outer body experience due to a reaction to something I had ingested. I was unconscious and had to be taken to the emergency room. When this happened I recalled looking down on myself as I lay in bed and hearing a voice (not audible) as if hearing someone else thinking "she has never gone to the hospital before". I watched myself be taken into an ambulance and after it left I stayed behind actually trying to turn on the TV & wondering why I couldn't, then I watched people enter my apartment and go through my things, and not even realizing I was just a sprit I tried to touch them but my hand went right through their body. It was unreal. And when I described in detail to someone that I had seen in the apartment what had occurred after I went in the hospital who knew I had no way to know anything about it, they were shocked with embarrassment and awe. So yes there is another side to things. I haven't had such experiences that often but there I have had some very strange ones on occasion.
