Dr S. does have the ability to help people feel better & heal some conditions. I had fibroids & he healed them in about a week, made the bleeding stop completely. I got fibroids from Norplant & Depo-Provera & Dr. balanced my hormones causing the fibroids to quickly disappear.

But his medicine is very harsh & his prices will make you feel worse than your ailment.

Dr S. talks fast, that is true; he's using his own herbs, some of which are very strong stimulants & he is a very aggressive salesman using phrases like "Are you in love with your disease?" to manipulate you into just saying OK when you object to his ways, prices or voice your reluctance to subject yourself to further extremely harsh herbal combinations.

I kept using his herbs because I felt so much better with much more energy & happier to boot. But I did not want to pay exorbitant prices, I felt ripped off.

My complaints are as follows: 1) He treid to keep me dependent by not revealing what the ingredients were that helped, rather I was to obey his orders & do what he told me. Getting information is like pulling teeth. He is very uncooperative & stingy with his knowledge; my guess is because you can then go to a natural healing store & buy the ingredients yourself for about one tenth the price.

Dr S. definitely took advantage of me financially & when I tried to ask questions & assert myself he bulldozed right over me, figuratively speaking. He has moved to Texas now under the name Healing P.E., so beware Texas.

The second major complaint is that he would not tell me how much the herbs cost until I was standing there with them in my hand, then I got a thousand dollar bill; literally, this is what happened to me.

His people skills are poor, I watched him treat his staff rudely & they did not stay long, so there was always a different person working for him.

I believe if he really wanted to help people, he would educate them as to what herbs he was administering & what they were for. Then I wish he would let me choose how much money I would spend. Even after asserting myself on these issues, he still managed to take advantage of me; each time I felt more ripped off but I knew the herbs would help me so I tried to understand the issue as bad people skills.

However since I stopped going to him, he has been calling me & when he finally did have his way, (I answered the phone instead of avoiding him) he got another $500 out of me. Even when I told him the prices were too high & I could only spend a certain amount, he gave me general price quote but when I checked my charge account, he had inflated the price by a couple hundred.

I would say his products are good & he knows his stuff, but you better be just as aggressive with demanding to know what you are taking & demanding a written invoice before agreeing to pay.

Overall I am very disappointed & feel violated & stolen from. Presently, he is drumming up business as he has recently moved to Texas, probably to avoid the heavy California taxes is my guess.

My next move, I am going to visit a local Ayurvedic clinic & get my herbs from them. Dr S. is not the only person who can administer strong herbal remedies.

I personally spoke to "Dr" Alex Strande a few days ago and became suspicious of him and his therapies when I was given over the phone "I can cure you in 7 days" of all infections and infestations and be out of all pain in one hour as well. I contacted the Board for Naturopathic Doctors under the CA Dept.of Consumer Affairs since he was not listed under licensed Naturopaths. The Naturopathic
Medicine Committee(NMC) was very familiar with Mr Strande.
The Office Staff said that they are encouraging now patients to contact the District Attorney's Office of CA to help stop Strande from defrauding the public. He is NOT a Doctor.

Zepplin , yes......Strande has arrived in California and continues to falsely represent himself as a Naturopathic Doctor and Microbiologist. Hopefully potential patients will learn that Strande has no degree or license to practice in CA. His new CA office location is in San Diego.
