yea, its all screwed up. how nice it would be for there to be a natural health teacher in a congregation, but they are more interested in the financial support of allopathic doctors these days. if one were to say something in a church against modern medicine you would be asked to leave, especially in fundy groups. they also dont want to be associated with groups they consider cults, such as jehovahs witness and their refusal of vaccines and transfusions.

the fact is they dont follow their own scriipture. they have created so many doctrines contrary to good teaching that they will never get out of their pickle. the revelation of jesus christ clearly puts the commerce of drugs as medicine as one of the things which will keep you outside the new jerusalem:

Rev 21
8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

that word for sorcerers in the greek is pharmakos, which i believe most here can easily recognize and understand for what it truly is.

Strange you should mention chanca piedra! Sent His Holiness an email (wonder if he´ll receive/read it) telling him about the healing properties of Chanca Piedra that i´d downloaded from another site. They also mentioned this same herb has been used for centuries in India, China and any number of other places on the planet where it grows(has different names obviously) for kidney, liver health, as well as dissolving stones, reducing cholesterol, high blood pressure etc. etc. Quite an amazing herb.
