For those interested in Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN), the annual LDN conference is being held on Saturday, 10/11/08 in Los Angeles, California. They are having a number of doctors (including Dr. Burt Berkson) from around the world who use LDN in treating a wide variety of illnesses - from AutoImmune Diseases (Multiple Sclerosis, Crohn’s, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Hepatitis, etc.), to Cancer, to viral diseases (HIV/AIDS), to Autism (see the below excerpt from the LDN Website). It is a free conference, but attendees are asked to please contribute towards the HIV/AIDS / LDN Clinical Trial that is being conducted by Dr. McCandless in Africa. Per a recent message from the Conference Organizer on Thursday, 10/9, she stated "ANYONE can come to the conference and register on site. We have over 100 seats left in the Mayer Auditorium. What I cannot promise is food service for the walk-ins, as I have to give the final count to USC catering when I arrive on campus this afternoon. Details: http://www.ldninfo.org/conf2008.htm"
If anyone is in the Los Angeles area and able to attend, it will be worth the trip!
Also, as has been done in the past, the conference will be videotaped for those who are not able to attend. The LDN Website (http://www.ldninfo.org/) normally has the multi-media posted a few months after the conference. The LDN Website also contains multi-media for the past 3 conferences, as well as a NIH/National Cancer Institute Conference.
Cheers ~~ Joyce

The conference theme, "A Revolution In Research", was selected because it reflects the increasing appearance of LDN articles in medical journals and the growth of LDN use in clinical practice.
During the course of the day, the attendees, who come from the far corners of the world as well as from Europe, can expect to be treated to a series of expert presentations from a number of researchers, physicians, and LDN advocates.
Presenters scheduled to speak include:
