I just wanted to post my questions again about your fordyce spot cauterization.
Hey
They used a laser to cauterize, but I couldnt tell you which one, but every derm here in canada has the same or similar machine in their office. It wasnt a Co2 laser, I know that.
There was real scabbing after, like a cut. No damage. It was very pink for a few months once healed but went normal after.
In the entire spot that was cauterized there is one new fordyce spot, a small speck, but used to be about 60.
It was a derm that performed the procedure. He retired unfortunately half way through treating me, and performed 4 times the same procedure with the same machine using different settings. The last time he got it, the first 3 did nothing. The last time the peeling later didnt peel back and still hasnt to this day. The problem is that I saw a new derm and she wouldnt help, and several others refused as well because of liability issues I assume.
I didnt pay anything, we have free medical help here in Canada. I dont think it would be much though, and to be honest, I think it worked the last time because he lasered it deep into the lip and got to the affected area. I am thinking about getting one of these machine for my self on the black market if cant find a derm to help me out. I have also been thinking about going to med school just to be able to do it for myself. A few years of studying is nothing compared to beating this problem for a lifetime.
Personally, I think it helps and is the cure to this, I am set on this idea.
I will post a pic right now to show you too.
