This is a reply to # 12,641However, I have to say that her mother died of bladder cancer supposedly caused by smoking...so she was exposed to second hand smoke. Most research has shown a link between Parkinson's and a history of constipation...that would apply to my mother. I'm inclined to believe that Parkinson's is yet another disease resulting from toxemia.

This is a reply to # 12,643I have now had Parkinson's coming up to 8 years and right up to a couple of months ago, I have stayed
medication free. I now take Cabergoline increasing dose month by month.
I have had a constipation problem for those 8 years but now with the Cabergoline things got a lot worse.
However, I have found the perfect constipation cure. Here in the UK there are sweets called Liquorice
Allsorts. I eat my way through a large packet each week and everything's fine. I am sure all countries have
liquorice sweets of some sort.... they really work !!
