I have been having problems with my blood
Sugar plummeting right before my liver contracts in the middle of the night. From what I have read here I suspect that some others are having the same problem and probably don't even know it. Anyone who has had blood
Sugar problems knows the way I feel. Shaky, hot and cold at the same time, sweaty, some nausea, a almost desperate panicy feeling. Relieved only with ingestion of high
Sugar item. Used to leave me wiped out for days. If I hadn't had these problems for years I would have thought it was a normal part of the cleanse. I hadn't had this happen in over a year and a half. And even now it only happens when I do the cleanse. Of course normally I am awake and if I feel slightly like I might be heading in that direction I eat something. I am mainly concerned because I have passed out in the past when this happened (not during cleanse) and I think it could be dangerous.
Any recommendations on how to keep my blood sugar up so this doesn't happen?
Some of the things I have considered are...
***Taking less of the oil\grapefruit juice so that I don't react to the ton of sugar from the juice hitting my system.
***Using something else to clean me out and relax my ducts, senna maybe? Anyone try that? I can not take the plain
Epsom Salts . Just the thought gags me. Plus it is very rough on my system. There must be some other solution.
***Not doing the apple juice the week before but eating grapefruit instead everyday this month. It's lower in carb and apparently helps disolve the stones.
***Sipping a tiny sip of something, classic coke maybe, throughout the night. Would sipping something lessen the effect of the cleanse? This one would be a last resort as it would mean I had to stay awake till my liver contracted. I think after the liver contracted I could taper it off and go to sleep since that seems to be the time it takes things to go through.
I am kind of wondering why the blood sugar drop coincides with the liver contracting. Maybe the liver has more to do with control of blood sugar than most docs realise? Maybe the liver and the pancreas process at about the same rate? Anyone know why this would happen? I wish I could talk to someone like Dr Hulda about this. Or someone else in the healing profession. Maybe this could lead to better healing practices for those with blood sugar related problems. Maybe both organs have to be healed up to bring full recovery.
Any other thoughts on ways to prevent the sugar loss?
