A fasting pro I am not, but I like to think I am not going into this blind like I do see some poor souls who have to ask the simplest questions, questions that should have been answered long before they even considered embarking on such a feat. I wonder sometimes yanno? I would have never undergone trying to fast without reading researching and taking the time to learn everything I can.
I just finished reading Shelton's Book "
Fasting Can Save Your Life " for the 3rd time. Each time I read it I feel as though I learn something I had not before. Doing several 10 day fasts has also prepared me a little to know what's in store, I am really excited to see what else might come about past those 10 days.
Today has been busy. Hubby was home, wanted Tacos from Taco Bell, and a large fry and fountain slop from McDonalds. I felt a little sick waiting in the drive through, the smells.. just disgusted me.
Not much of a headache today (thank gawd) but some tightness in the center of my back, strange feeling. Neck is still stiff, hurts to turn my head to the far left or right. Looking over my shoulder is impossible. But I can say I am very proud of myself for getting off the muscle relaxers, and the pain pills I was unloading on my poor body for the pain for nearly 6 months.
Stomach was doing a lot of rumbling today, urine is still very light, no BM's yet. I did do an enema this morning. But that will be my only one, I am not real sure on the effectiveness off them.
Shelton says they are not necessary. Makes sense, I mean... were fasting animals able to do enemas? Dunno. Open opinion there.
Anyway, off to get a few things done, clean up the kitchen from making dinner, help son with homework, and then I will be laying down for a bit before I do a final email check before bed. Take care all, stay safe.
