Hi Cerph
Besides Refreshed's good post, here are e few more
from Moreless in

Hi afterhOurs,
“The more water retention a person may have, may mean the more Fatty Acids they may retain, which may mean the More Fat they may carry!
Which may mean the more Toxins and Acids their body may retain!
The body needs a certain ratio of Sodium to Potassium in relationship to the amount of Calcium to Magnesium ratio in order to stay Healthy!
In Cold weather, a person may need a greater amount of Sodium to Potassium , so that they may keep warm!
In Hot weather, a person may need a greater amount of Potassium to Sodium, so that they may stay Cool!
"IF" you eat foods in season, they may provide you with this correct ratios, which the body needs!
But, "IF" you take Baking soda to neutralize the Excess Acids all the time, then you may have too much Sodium to the Potassium Ratios needed in the Hot weather and you may have trouble staying Cool, for one problem!
Also "IF" you have a problem of too much Fat on your body, then taking this Baking Soda to neutralize your Excess Acids, may just allow you to stay "FAT" !
So, "IF" you are too "FAT" is this how you want to be?
Baking Soda is only a temporary fix for over-Acidity, and it may help in the short run, but it is not a long term solution!
It does not provide your body with the needed Alkaline Mineral Electro-magnetic Energy required by the body to operate effectively and to rebuild the different organs in your body!
Smile Tis your choice.”
And from JonnySmith in the same thread
“Plus if I am not mistaken, if you end up with a buildup of too much sodium(even from baking soda), it can make blood pressure problems worse or even greatly increase your risk of developing high blood pressure, especially if you have a salt sensitivity and don't even know it. Many sites that promote the use of baking soda to neutralize excess acidity even go as far as to state that potassium bicarbonate rather than sodium bicarbonate(baking soda) may be a better option for neutralizing excess acidity.”
END of QUOTES
And now from my personal experimentation with various solutions. When I was first introduced to the pH concepts many months ago (not through this forum) I was using just baking soda. Later, with further searches, I found the ACV Baking Soda solution and later added Potassium bicarbonate. I had some success from it but also some water retention when not using the potassium bicarbonate. But I can tell you that these are nothing when compared to the Moreless alkalizing drink. Here's a link to the drink with more instructions

Not only the drink will increase one's pH, but over time, will replenish many minerals that were lost because of many years of acidosis. No doubt that after many years with acidosis, internal organs, tissues and bones have been deteriorated. The ML drink provides various minerals via the blackstrap molasses, kelp, ACV/lemon, Epson salt (magnesium) and calcium from pickling lime water.
I would encourage you to read the many testimonials of people who followed some of the protocols.

Reading these helped me decide to try the ML drink.
Look at the
