One of the reasons I am proud to be an American is because it was built by a spirit that is pioneering, forward thinking, creative, individualistic, and above all optimistic.
America was founded by radicals who actually dared to believe that there could be a better way to live. A new way of living that cherished life, liberty and happiness. These rights when expressed do not harbor negativity and pessimism. One who is happy is one who is optimistic.
The founders wrote the Declaration of Independence. Independence from what? and in what direction was this independence to go? They established that men do NOT receive their rights from governments or kings or rulers or elitists of any kind. They declared their freedom from the tyranny of other men.
AND they stated that their rights, their natural rights, were given to them by GOD! That is what the Declaration of Independence means. This is a mandate created by GOD that gives each individual their sovereignty. This country was founded by men who had FAITH in God. This very belief is what enrages the leftists so much.
The naysayers of the left have one message. They say in their slogans that America is a bad place. They are not proud of this country. They see America as evil. They are always saying everything is half empty. They are perpetual pessimists. This is fundamentally unAmerican.
Elitism runs contrary to the spirit of America and the roots of its creation. This is a country under GOD.
Again, they just don't get it...

You are absolutely right. Our country was founded by radicals who believed that each citizen was equal and sovereign with God given unalienable rights that could not be taken away by the government, and to protect those rights they later created a Constitution which did not grant rights but rather insured them.
The problem is that since that shining moment, the greed and lust for power of man has led politicians and those who have come to control them to erode those rights to the point that we now have a mere illusion of the kind of democracy and freedoms envisioned and intended by our forefathers.
The shadow government and the rich elite have had this country in an iron grip for half a century now. The last freely elected President not in their control was John F. Kennedy, and he was promptly assassinated after he gave a speech condemning them and setting forth plans to take the Federal Reserve Bank back from being privately owned by international bankers.
This year, only Ron Paul and perhaps Kucinich, were not already controlled and pre-approved by the Bilderburg elitists. Each candidate and party may be able to operate somewhat different agendas, but it is all window dressing that is merely part of the charade being played against us. They ALL take their orders from those who they have sold their souls to in order to get there. And that includes McCain, Obama, Biden, and yes, Palin too.
If she were not firmly on board with those who would create a one world New World Order to ultimately own and enslave us all, she would not be there. Period. The same is true for most national elected politicians and most high level state ones as well. The vetting has long since taken place for them to get there and their strings are firmly attached to the puppet masters who control our industry, money, energy, medicine and media.
If people really want change, they need to stop focusing all of their attention on the dog and pony charade of democratic national elections that give us pre-approved candidates from only two parties which supposedly represent 300 million people and demand that all elected officials reject the rule of agencies and codes and their corporate UNITED STATES OF AMERICA INC color of law and admiralty courts and demand that each and every one of them return to adhering to the Constitution and returning all of the freedoms set forth in the Declaration of Independence. And demand the same of those they appoint and hire in all government agencies large and small.
Until we do that, we will continue losing our freedoms, our standards of living and our moral fiber and continue being led as blind sheeple to our own servitude. And the Ron Pauls of the future will be precious few and far between.

America was founded on land stolen from the indigenous people in a campaign of genocide that lasted 400 years.
America was also founded on the slavery of the Africans.
The Declaration of Independence in its Origami version Stated: The people have the inalienable right to life,liberty and THE PURSUIT OF PROPERTY. Wake up. It was written by the Elite Rich New World Order people of that era.
They then went on to put Slavery in the constitution to make sure no one was going to be messin with their property rights, in other words,Slaves.
Elitism (slavery) is the foundation of this country. And the founders were pot smoking pan theists.
The past 100 years has seen america invade or intervene in foreign countries on behalf of Corporate america perhaps 100 times. Resulting in the deaths of millions of people and their exploitation.
The New World Order is now planning on the Elimination of the American Middle Class as it brings into this country tens of millions of Illegal Aliens with IQs of 87, to drive the wages down to 50 cents an hour like in Mexico and China.
Your Republican victory will be ashes in your mouth.

this statement is in partial error... grievous error IMO, due to the inaccurate, narrow minded focus (Africans) most have when it comes to slavery in the world, and most especially the U.S.
slavery in the U.S. included the sale and enslavement of 10s of thousands (some say 100s of thousands over the years) of indigenous peoples, whites, AND Chinese as well...

This is a reply to # 1,251,961You are right. The pinnacle moment of this country was the moment of its birth. And like a newborn infant, fresh out of the womb and brought to its peak moment of life energy, from that moment on it has begun to die. It will continue moving constantly toward its most certain death. It is natural. To try to freeze-frame it onto a piece a paper is unnatural. To think that it will go on forever is certainly optimistic, but it is not realistic. To live in this life without thinking that death will ever come keeps one in a dream... the american dream.
This can be attributed to the belief in a Christian god. A god that is only optimistic, creative, progressive. In a way this is part of the problem.
This country was created out of revolution, and revolutionaries are great at taking things apart... very good at being destructive... but not very good at creating... a different kind of person is needed for that. This country will end the way it began... in revolution.
The Hindus got is more right... god is both left and right, the creator and the destroyer. The good and the bad, the god and the devil, together.
If those radicals that you speak of really trusted that there could be a better way to live, a new way of living that cherished life, liberty and happiness, then the first thing that was needed was to drop that Christian ideology that placed enjoyment of the pleasures of this very life to be sacrificed in order to achieve a hallowed afterlife. Bypassing the enjoyment of this life for some fictional afterlife... Now this is not in anyway cherishing life, it is cherishing death... it is death affirmative, not life affirmative, at the very most it is cherishing a dead life.
One is optimistic in order to cover up their self-created miserable life. But this will always keep one hoping for happiness to come some day. Optimism keeps hope alive. And happiness is never truly realized. Because it will always be in some nonexistent future, something to be pursued after... the pursuit of happiness... but never realized in this moment. One has to be in this moment to realize it, but is too busy chasing it down to be found in some far away future moment... this is what the optimistic person is about... goals, ambition, achievement... safety, security, a padded cushion... a padded cell...
And one may wonder why Socrates talked against family values…
Being an American, is being a masochist... there is something more than being an American... being a human being is more than being simply an 'American'. I am proud to be a human being.
I have heard that to make it right, so that Americans will not suffer a future holocaust, is to give America back to the Indians that they stole it from.
Since that is not likely to come about, then, enjoy hoping for the best, enjoy your optimism while you are able... it is your right. the right to remain miserable.
