If you ever wonder how to store precious carrier/base oils for longevity,
here's a secret:
Store them in the fridge! Whenever possible, make smaller batches and keep them chilly in the fridge, but keep the bulk of your oils in the freezer in between uses/new batches, etc..
The colder temps will certainly change the look of your oil..it will begin to harden and its color will change, this is very normal, that is what fats do when they get cold.
I prefer this method, as it keeps oxygen, light, and heat away from these natural elements. These elements need protection, and a fridge/freezer is great!
For defrosting; usually budget yourself a day. Take them out in the am, and when u get home form work , they will be liquid once again, and ready to use.
