The eyelid images are not really projected onto your eyelids but it really appears that they do.
I find if I am tired or have sleep deprivation I observe these images easier. One method is to set your alarm clock to say 4 am get up wash your face and go back to bed.
You will really find you want to go back to sleep but try as best as you can to remain conscious that you are laying on your bed, be patient, don’t nod off, the pictures will start to appear, flow with then you must try to sort of merge with them.
You don’t really leave your body you are always connected by a silver cord that can somehow stretch into infinity. There no such thing as some other entity taking over your body because your consciousness is in both places at once. You stay "aware" that you are laying on your bed but at the same time could be observing other realities with your mind "on the other side of the universe" Or on earh of course..
Time has no meaning in these diamensions so you might see a past, present or future event
This is a fact of quantum physics, one fundamental particle can interact with another at the same moment from billions of light years apart.
Lucid dreaming is another method of experiencing other dimensions and is much easier to perfect, When you have a dream that is Technicolor, with feel taste, sound and vivid etc. Immediately on waking, write it down as it might fade after a few seconds or minutes.
I have seen amazing things in these dreams events that happen in the night at the other side of the world, which when I switch on the TV etc is confirmed as accurate’
I will come back with some examples later If the forum shows interest
