I have suffered from yeast and candida infections for 8 years. Every time I have used ACV I have immediately gotten a yeast infection in my throat and throughout my body. I have seen an M.D. N.D. for the last eight years. I was told by her not to use ACV. I know that people talk about Angel Juice (made with ACV), which has several spices and herbs in it, i.e. cayenne, garlic, ginger, etc., but I was unable to use that either.

If you try ACV, don't be surprised if you end up with yeast in your throat and mouth. I have have seen another post where a gal was getting sores in her mouth....I'm assuming candida. If you do get it in your mouth, go to the health food store and get Tom's Mouth Wash, which has Tea Tree and other yeast fighting ingredients. It's very mild. Also, you can try 50/50 water and peroxide to gargle, but do not swallow. These remedies have worked for me and may work for you.

ACV is great to for your skin if you mix it 50/50% with water, and empty 2 spearmint tea bags in to it. Let 'steep' for three days and drain. The spearmint closes up your pores and helps with the smell of the ACV. ACV acts as an acid and exfoliates your skin and kills bacteria. You can work up to 100% ACV. Just before bed, apply with a cottonball.

ACV is used on skin after laser skin surgery to help with healing and exfoliation.

ACV is great for getting rid of warts, genatal warts and skin tags. Apply to a piece of cotton ball just big enough to cover infected area and squeeze out excess moisture, apply to the area and affix with a bandage or waterproof tape. Leave on overnight. Remove treatment in the morning and wash the area. Repeat until the wart or skin tag is gone. BE CAREFUL ACV CAN BURN YOUR SKIN! It can take the top layers of your skin off. I burned a dime sized portion of my face with ACV using too much on a skin tag. It leaves a weepy wound that is hard to scab up. Luckily it did not scar. While you are doing the treatment, the area may become white or pastie looking. The ACV will push the wart or skin tag out and you should have no scar.

Another remedy is to mix 1 cup witch hazel, 4 tea bags rose hips, 1 tablespoon honey, 2 tsp lemon rind and 1 teaspoon citric acid (VIT C). Steep for 3 days and drain. The honey kills bacteria and conditions the skin. The other ingredients help as well. You're skin will be a little sticky after applying, but just put a light mosturizer on afterward and it won't be anymore. Apply in the morning after washing your face. Great for under makeup.
