my horse is a 16-18 year old thoroughbred gelding. i feed him 2 flakes of alfalfa morning and night but he has a hay belly and his ribs show. i worm him every 6 weeks and i dont know what else to do- Get a full diagnostic work-up by you... horsefeatherz

This is a reply to # 1,236,302Your horse needs a full work-up by your equine veterinaian including a physical, stool exam, blood panel, and husbandry discussion. A float also needs be done.

In all seriousness, I think this is a forum where you could make a difference. You obviously are well versed in mainstream veterinary medicine and practices and it looks like "The Vet" made a total of three posts six months ago and checked out.
