I recently had privileged communications from a very highly placed source regarding ongoing FDA trials on a new oleander product at a facility recognized as one of the top ones in the world. Due to confidentiality agreements and other considerations (one being that I gave my word) I cannot relate any of the details at this time, nor reveal my source, but I can tell you that the trials are going extremely well and everyone connected with it is very excited.
At this time I can say no more, but the results that are being recorded are huge indications of the power of oleander.

This is a reply to # 1,234,075You omitted the most important part: WHAT condition is oleander showing efficacy for? If cancer, what types of cancer? If not cancer, what conditions?
Don't worry, unless you're leaving a lot out of your biography, your conversation was not legally privileged.

Legal has little to do with it. I gave my word to a very highly placed source and friend as well - who might become neither if I said more than I agreed to. I will say that all ongoing FDA approved trials on oleander center around cancer. That and leukemia.
There is a fairly recent European patent by Arabian doctors for an oleander extract for use against a wide variety of cancers. leukemia ad HIV and, while I have little doubt about it's ability to treat all of those conditions, I seriously doubt that it will stand up to a strong patent challenge because it is too similar to both an age old remedy based on a common plant and an already patented medicine (Anvirzel) which is itself involved in FDA testing.
Ironically, it oleander was first reported to have been used for cancer by Arabs in the 8th century BC, though it's medicinal use has been dated back much farther to the ancient Phoenicians and Mesopotamians.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,236,515Yes, I was fairly certain that you meant to say 'confidential conversation' rather than 'privileged conversation' (I'm a bit of a nag when it comes to terms of art being used synonymously with everyday terms, even though it happens all the time, and most of us do it to some extent).
I just found it odd that you revealed confidential information while refusing to share the information that is public record (the IND under investigation, the lead researcher, the objectives of the trial, the conditions for which it is being studied, etc.) The fact that a drug is showing some success is also pretty useless without knowing what condition it's being tested on.- Re: OK, make that I cannot break a p... chrisb1

I think Tonys post was quite clear in the expectation of future good news regarding oleander, and where he was just offering a tidbit for the more powerful & revealing news to follow at some point in the near future.
I think your ideas about privileged and/or confidential conversations about impending information are about splitting hairs, being pedantic and irrelevant to his message.

This is a reply to # 1,236,895I am not going to get caught up in a debate or in splitting hairs here, but what happened is that I was told in the end of an email message that "BTW the results we are seeing in the trials really have everyone excited". And, being me, I immediately sent back a response to the effect that "you cannot expect me to be satisfied with that mere bone, so tell me more even if it is confidential". A couple of messages later I knew more and also knew the limitations on what I could reveal. So there you have it and I will say no more other than that I doubt that there is a public record yet available.
I don't want to throw a damper on, but the fact is that it will take years for any product currently being tested to make it to market, if it ever does. The reason I say "if it ever does" is because any product that is successful far beyond anything presently on the market from the big pharma boys represents a huge threat to the almost $400 Billion a year cancer industry. That amount of money and profits is far more than enough to give pause to anyone who knows the ugly history of mainstream western medicine. We can only hope that somehow this one will make it to market some day in unadulterated form. If it does, worlds will shake - I already know what oleander can do.
What is most exciting to me is to find that there are some astounding results happening with oleander. I find that exciting mainly because the results help validate the home remedy version, the existing patented medicine version (which is also reported to be in FDA trials) and the supplement version, which all contain essentially the same compounds in the new product (but in different ratios) - and those versions are all available now
