well, i just spent 13 hours trapped in kemper arena in downtown kansas city with no distilled water and nothing but typical sports/concert fare for the entire day. in fact, it was worse than airport concessions. a bottle of water was $4. i nibbled some local gourmet popcorn samples and that was it. william had some skittles.

the boy was given a fair chance and simply didnt have the music for the judges. he looked good. he could sing. but he didnt sing anything they recognized. i warned him.

i hope it was good experience for him.

maybe more on some observations later. maybe not, though. they are not hopeful.
