I am the same way. I do not care to eat meats and veggies. Especially when my adrenals are not up to par ( sometimes I feel nausiated ). But, never the less, the higher protein diet does work the best, especially if you have hypoglycemia.
One protein I can tolerate well is cottage cheese and I will always have sunflower seeds on top and a small portion of fresh fruit on the side or tomato slices and cucumber slices.
Albacore tuna with some mayo added for tuna salad is another good alternative to 'hot' meat. I love this on a bed of lettuce with a sliced avacado on the side.
Cold chicken salad is great too, if you add chopped apples, celeray, walnuts, a few grapes to it. Hope this can help you appetite some.
