Chris10 has made numerous blanket denial posts and links to mainstream explanations about 9/11 and the World Trade Center towers. Among her posts was the outrageous statement where she questioned how buildings owner and leasee Silverstein could be expected to know "demolition jargon" despite his 50 plus years of experience in putting up new buildings in New York City and Manhattan, where every new building erected requires one or more buildings to be demolished.
Lately, her denials have included her contention that "no reputable engineer" believes anything but the official version of the fall of the towers - and she uses her own Berkeley background and her relatives who graduated from Caltech as part of her proof.
No reputable engineers you say? Berkely and Caltech you say? How do you like your crow served? More specifically how do you explain the following list of 411 professional engineers and architects who have signed a petition demanding the truth about 9/11 and stating that they doubt the official explanations (and one might note that there are - gasp! - Berkeley and Caltech grads):

This is a reply to # 1,227,971I'm not going to comment if I believe the WTC was a controlled demolition ONLY BECAUSE I read and research so darn much other stuff and my life is so busy I simply haven't gotten to that in detail yet. BUT THAT IS THE ONLY REASON. I won't comment on something I haven't spent time researching. I will get to it ASAP. However, there is absolutely not one shred of doubt in my mind that at the very, very least our government knew about this before it occurred and used it to their slimy, self-serving advantage.
Come to think of it, in one of Aaron Russo's interviews not too long before he died he talked about 9/11. Aaron Russo had absolutely no reason to lie. He was a dying man. I believe he was a true patriot and a hero. Hmmm . . . guess I'm going to have to start doing my research tomorrow. I owe that much to Aaron.

Shifting paradigms are a bitter pill to swallow. Or maybe I'm completely wrong. My husband says that happens quite often. But then again, his paradigm hasn't shifted yet either and we're still married. Go figure.

I don't claim to know the complete story of 9/11, but our history is full of our government carrying out false flag operations, abusing it's own citizens, and lying to us. Those who do know the real truth are not likely to ever admit it. And so we are left with unanswered questions and speculation.
I agree with you, though - something smells and it is not just the toxins from the ruined buildings. The administration and shadow powers really needed an enemy to rally the people, justify a war for Big Oil and get them to agree to lose even more of their rights and freedoms. Such a staged event would be in keeping with a time dis-honored list.

There is a mountain of evidence that has as much mass as the 14 million pounds of combustibles in WTC1&2 that arabs flew planes into the WTC and the pentagon .If one blames the Bush administration for the terrorist attacks and therefore fails to monitor the plans of arab terrorists then they are responsible if another attack occurs.Just because one has legitimate complaints about govt is not reason enough to believe that 911 was an inside job or that we are being sprayed by chemtrails or that the AIDs virus was manufactured by the govt to kill blacks or whatever antigovt propaganda one comes accross.If one understands Science and takes some time to read the scientific analysis ,it becomes clear that 911 wasn't an inside job .- Re: False flags and creating enemies... dquixote1217

Who knows, maybe Dubya did not know what was coming before the fact and afterwards he was told how the cow ate the cabbage. I bet the real power in the Whitehouse, Dick Cheney, knew. After all, his own insiders have testified that he came into office with an agenda to secure Mideast oil.
I might point out that Merck had a mountain of evidence about the safety and effectiveness of Vioxx too - evidence inspected and approved by the government (FDA). And that is a greater mass murder atrocity than 9/11.
Science has become the great whore of Babylon when it comes to truth.
BTW, if the evidence is so compelling, how do you explain the 2100 plus signatures of professionals and students on a website most people, including YOU, did not even know existed?

Assuming the letter is genuine , when was it written ? Perhaps it was written before the scientific studies mentioned in the link were done.Those people aren't prominent in their fields If I were you and couldnt argue based on the facts and thwe Science I would allege that all those people were part of an arab Conspiracy to deny the fact that arabs were responsible for 911 . If "pull it" is not used by demolition people, then why did you feel it necessary to make the statement about Silverstein not knowing demolition terms? I would say it is YOU who grasps at straws.
The list is an ongoing petition, so far 411 architects and engineers have signed it. Would you like to see the list of 1702 other professionals and architect and engineering students who have also signed it? They have some pretty impressive credentials too - and several of them are from Berkeley and CalTech.
Since YOU made the statement - more than once - to the effect that NO respectable engineer supported anything but the official versions in your link, I propose that you take the list of 411 architects and engineers and prove individually how each of them are not respectable.
Or else stop making blanket denialist posts you cannot support.

What do you mean by "ongoing" When was it written? Lets hear some of their or your analysis of the evidence . Maybe these people feel more research on the specific effects of these planes needs to be done for use in the future .One cant conclude that they subscribe to the Conspiracy rants on the internet.
Architects are not scientists. Are any of those people prominent research scientists?
My points about Silverjew are both that pull it doesnt mean blow it up and that even if it did he wouldnt know that .In any case chief Nigro said he ie Nigro made the decision to pull it and that he doesnt take orders from Silverjew .Are all those thousands of FDNY, NYPA police, and other assorted heros that testified how unstable #7 was and that the fires were out of control and that it was missing a huge twenty story chunk ( which wouldnt have occurred if WTC1&2 were part of a demolition) also conspirators?You should apologize to the FDNY.Besides a mountain of other evidence , the idea that 911 was a Bush admin. Such a statement is pure denialist opinion. You have nothing but opinion when it comes to knowing what is and is not possible. Blanket denials and labeling others as "kooks" are the tools of those who seek to cover up the truth. When you control all of the major media, you can do just about whatever you please with only a few key people.
But let me ask you, how many people were involved in the Weapons of Mass Destruction conspiracy to lead our nation into an undeclared war that has cost over 100,000 soldier and civilian lives? How many have been involved in the conspiracy to portray natural remedies as ineffective and dangerous and man made drugs as the only real medicine?

This is a reply to # 1,227,971An impressive list at first glance, but its credibility really starts to unravel as you look closer at this organization. First of all, how many certified structural engineers are part of this petition? Architects know nothing of structural collapse scenarios (the ring leader admits this), and probably most engineers (unless specialized in mechanical engineering field) wouldn't know much either. Then, even a small few of mechanical engineers would know about how buildings can fall. My father is an electrical engineer and can't fix a door hinge, so if he joined this cause I'd have to seriously question its validity.
One could easily start an organization about Neuro Surgery and get numerous Phds and MDs to sign a petition on the matter, but one would have to really examine the list of members and see what their disciplines are before placing any credibility in their collective views no? This is not to say they aren't intelligent people, but are they qualified to speak on the subject to such an extent as to suggest such collaborative corruption by so many different people and agencies? Moreover, how do we know without question that some of these people are who they claim? In two cases, one was lieing about his identity and one was a made up name. As for the rest, one can only speculate and also accept that even intelligent people can be fooled and used.

How many times do the words "Structural Engineer" appear on the list? Best go take another look.
BTW, the list now has 419 Architects and Engineers and 2076 other mostly professional and A & E students - including structural engineering students.
Best go back to the Chemtrails forum - but I threw up quite the roadblock there too, didn't I?

This is a reply to # 1,228,923I count about 12. Not exactly awe inspiring. And how many understand how buildings fall? We are nearly 7 years post 911. By far the majority of structural professionals haven't signed. To me that's more of a red flag than this list.
Hey, I don't wish to trample on your dreams here. If you wish to embrace this sort of flakiness as compelling evidence, then that is your choice to do so. For me, it falls very short. The numbers are dismal considering the amount of general engineering/architecture professionals they've opened it up to and could potentially sign the petition. Students don't really count for much as they are impressionable, naive, and don't know much about how things work in the actual application. This is why engineers engage in field training and doctors clinical.
As far as what forum I read: I think I'll post where my interests take me. Thanks for the concern though.
