I guess because the adrenal glands control the hormones it makes it so the PMS is worse. If you have adrenal fatigue you are not getting much seratonin...I did feel much much better when I was on zoloft as far as PMS and it helped me to not stress about things as much, which gave my adrenals a break. I just didn't like how lazy it made me...I was emotionless. I also don't like to take synthetic meds, they are really hard on my liver from the Epsetin Barr Virus I had 6-7 years ago. My doctor is giving me an amino acid supplement called D5 that he said will really help with my depression/anxiety/OCD stuff. It is a natural neurotransmitter to give me more seratonin. I have been really depressed. I feel like I can't realte to anyone, it has been hard. My mom has a lot of my same health problems, so I guess I enheritted them from her. She is really the only one that understands what I go through becuase she has been experiencing it for over 30 years. The isocort has really helped me a lot. Has your doctor given you a glandular or something, they really make a huge difference. The ones from standard process are really great, the desicated adrenal one saved my life when I was doing high pressure sales all that time. The times in my life when my adrenals were stronger I had far less PMS so I am hoping that as they get stronger the PMS will get better. I am also on the shots of hydrocortisone and hormones DHEA and Pregnenelone so hopefully in time they will help the PMS too. The progesterone cream made me feel like I was going crazy so I had to get off it. What type of work do you do? I will have to be going back to work soon and I am scared.
