Miracle Mineral Supplement (MMS). It is being advertised as the answer to AIDS, hepatitis A, B and C, malaria, herpes, TB, most cancer and many more of mankind's worst diseases. The claim about how the chlorine (a poison, not what would be considered a mineral for health)[vi] interacts with pathogens is the same claim we can make about Iodine (a safe nutritional mineral), which is known to also kill pathogens of all types on contact. I do not mean to make a qualified medical opinion on Miracle-Mineral-Supplement , which is chlorine dioxide. Chlorine dioxide is formed from the chemical combination of sodium chlorite and the acetic acid (vinegar) or citric acid . Chlorine dioxide is dangerous to handle and use. A search for material safety data sheets sustains the risk of using this substance.
Chlorine dioxide: May decompose explosively on shock, friction or concussion, or on heating rapidly. Strong oxidant - reacts violently with combustible and reducing materials, and with mercury, ammonia, sulphur and many organic compounds.[vii]
A strong irritant of the skin, eyes, and respiratory tract; [HSDB] A strong oxidizer that promotes combustion; Concentrated solutions may be corrosive to the skin and eyes; Mild hemolytic anemia and increased methemoglobin in males is observed in animal feeding studies; [CHEMINFO][viii]
Acute Health Effects: [ix]
Ingestion: Not a normal route of exposure. Harmful if swallowed. Can cause irritation to mouth,
esophagus, stomach, and mucous membranes.
Eye Contact: Contact causes redness, irritation, pain, blurred vision, tearing, corneal injury and burns.
Inhalation: Harmful if inhaled. Coughing, headaches, labored breathing, nausea, shortness of breath,
pulmonary edema.
Chronic Health Effects:
May have effects on lungs, resulting in chronic bronchitis and permanent lung damage (with chronic exposure).
The use of dangerous poisons is common in allopathic medicine. Even when pharmaceutical companies jump through hoops costing many millions of dollars to test such poisons (most pharmaceuticals are mitochondria poisons) it does not remove the dangers of the poisons, which create all kinds of complications and side effects. The natural allopathic medicine of Survival Medicine only uses such poisons as a last resort.

Wow... If I am reading that article correctly, Adam seems to indicate that if the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement protocol doesn't work for you, it is because of a mind "issue."
Does this indicate that a missing part of the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement protocol is membership in a Church fellowship?
Come to think about it... I seem to remember reports of Jesus healing people without using Miracle-Mineral-Supplement . Perhaps we could skip MMS all together and just go straight to Jesus for healing... [smile icon]

I'm an atheist and believe even back then placebo's were in full swing, Benny Hinn is a master at it today.
All Miracle-Mineral-Supplement believers would be Benny Hinn followers to, so I expect an uproar from those that walk without feet, wave without hands and sing without tongues or is that sing in tongues!

so clearly faith was required.
The mind can make you sick, the mind can keep you sick and the mind can cure you
this is recognised today and they call it psychosomatic illness. (it is still real disease though)
So maybe many diseases are psychosomatic and pathogens are often just opportunists invading a body weakened by the mind.
No medicine is going to be sufficient if the body continues to be weakened by a stressed and disturbed mind

While I mostly agree with you, I think it is irresponsible for Adam to suggest that the reason that the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement protocol is not working for someone is because their mind is not in the right place.
Jesus was able to help people even if they were a little short on faith. I think a true "Miracle" should just work... However, I am reminded that sales hype is often bigger than actual performance.

This is a reply to # 1,226,636I was going to stay out of this discussion, but I have to answer that, Jon. Humble is completely responsible for the hype, as is Adam Abraham. From the beginning they claimed outrageous things, it would cure malaria, AIDS, any disease withing HOURS. Then they backed up and said that it was our diet that was responsible for the lack of instant cures. Then they backed up again and said that it was the mindset that was responsible. They have to keep coming up with new reasons for it because is isn't working. I believe that there are a few that have had good results, and I believe that that is the placebo effect. To suggest that you have to believe that a medication will work in order for it to be effective is ludicrous. Either it works or it doesn't. There is a huge difference between physiological and physcological. Mindset helps in the treatments of diseases, but shouldn't effect the physiological effects of a medication. Humble is the one that made the huge, wild claims about how they would cure malaia, then all the other disease and start a new religion. That Miracle-Mineral-Supplement was only the beginning. How many "interviews" has he given lately? Where is he? Adam is trying to cover his misplaced faith in Humble, by coming up with explanations. His claim that it won't cure everything without the right mindset is diametrically opposed to what he first said in the first articles about it. And the numbers of people using it are dying out. Miracle-Mineral-Supplement is on it's way out. They might want to call Benny Hinn for the funeral.

You need to do other things like rest, exercise, eat properly or change your environment to do this. Mind and body are not seperate this is or rather was an illusion of western medicine. It has never been the case in eastern medicine
I don't know exactly what Abrahams has been saying in the past but I thought this was obvious all along. Miracle-Mineral-Supplement is a tool to get rid of pathogens and aid the immune system and that is all it does
If you have chronic tension and mental or emotional stress are a factor in causing a physical illness then you have to address this as well.
That may not be the reason it doesnt help but if it doesnt you have to look at other things you can do that may get to the root of the problem
In eastern medicine the mind is regarded as the biggest cause of disease besides pathogens

Never was it mentioned that you had to have the right mindset. Notice the first "cures". They weren't at all concerned about the emotions of the afflicted. They just told them to drink the stuff. It was only after it didn't seem to cure in a matter of hours or days that Abraham and Humble began to talk about the mindset of those taking it. Look back on Abrahams blogs, look back at the first edition of Humble's book. They claimed that it would cure anything and in a matter of hours, I have Humble's first book, and that is what he claimed.
This isn't about Chinese medicine. That's where this debate goes wrong. This is about the claims made by Humble. This is about Miracle-Mineral-Supplement and why it doesn't work. The subject is Miracle-Mineral-Supplement . This is an MMS debate forum. This is about whether or not Humble is right or wrong in his claims. So far, he's wrong, Jon. You can add whatever you want into the mix, and it won't change the fact that Humble mislead people. Abraham mislead people. And the cover up is obvious. Get it back on the topic of MMS. I've never been too concerned about Humbles claims of how effective it is or how many people he claims it has cured in Africa because we only have his word for that
I don't think they ever claimed that it would cure in hours. They claimed it would clear most pathogens.

This is a reply to # 1,226,840We have only heard from a few that it has helped, and then never heard from them again. Is the "cure" ongoing, it is a result of the placebo effect? That's the big question. The fact that it is dying out is interesting. The interest is going away, mainly because people aren't getting the results that were claimed, so I think that the claims that Humble made are key in the debate. Also, a few anecdotal stories aren't proving a thing. More people seemed to have problems with it than people that had success with it. Daily, the support forum shows people asking for help because of side effects. So why is that good? Yes, it's a powerful anti microbial. And no, it hasn't been tested in the body. I briefly looked at ASC diluted as a possibility, until I found out from Bruce that it will oxidize collagen, and I back away from it. The difference here is that I search out info from credible sources. Not Humble, or just any article on the internet.
