I know this is way of topic; but I just can't help remembering a friend of mine who had a cockatoo. I would visit him to watch TV; but, ended up watching the bird. The bird loved to "skate" on the glass coffee table. So funny. So cute. It had endless pleasure doing that.

Sounds like I could have a pet for a long time.
This guy gets incredible amounts of attention and is mostly out of the cage when I'm at home.
Always getting communicated to and practically carries on a conversation at times through his different sounds.
That picture was taken when he was about two or three and looks just as healthy and young today at ten years.
I think your right that he is a combination. He just has that little bit of gray with mostly yellow.
The gray looks more like an accent which I think gives him a nice look.
