I'm not sure where you live, but I've been diagnosed with the same condition. I really don't think the condidtion is caused by a parasite, but I'm not a doctor. You may want to consider seeing one of the surgeons at www.brainsurgery.com. They are a well known group that can probably give you a second opinion. Good luck.

My sister has the same problem. after her second child shes started having all these problems... migraines, numbness,sharp pains up her back, her gate was not right ..on and on. we have come to the conclusion that it must of been the epidural she had from her second child 7 given 7 months ago. so she got an MRI and they found a cyst on her spine, and they told her she had to have surgery. so they went in and they cleaned out as much of the cyst as possible. she was doing therapy afterwards.. but then all of a sudden it got worse. she went in for another MRI and they said it grew.. her cyst grew and now she has all these cyst fibers all along her spine. so the doctor told her she has three options... 1. have a shunt placed in so the fluids can flow (they say her spine fluid is also thick so who knows if this will work), they can go in and take out as much of cyst as possible but this can possibly cause her to be paralysed, and 3. they can do this new thing which involves them opening her brain . ah! my whole family is a mess so i know what you are going through. we are now waiting for the doctors to get back to us and waitin on insurance. in the meantime , i am doing everything possible to get my sister healed... juicing, healthy diet, massages, movement and just helping her with her faith and spirit because all of these medications she has been given is messing her up in and out. so, please if you need support of any I can try to help. also, if you know of any alternatives for my sister please let me know. i am so scared! thanks
