A coffee enema is a powerful way to detox the liver...it will cleanse the bowel somewhat, but it's primarily used as a liver cleanse. And, yes...you will absorb some of the caffeine...not as much as drinking coffee....but if you have a strong adverse reaction to caffeine coffee enemas may pose a problem for you.
